It was so hot and dry in the desert with Jacob and his friend Billy because there was mostly no water in the desert. Jacob and Johnny were lost in the desert calling people for help and asking them to call 991 and everything. After that they found camels and Jacob asked asked “should we take those camels” “heck yeah” “those camels would help us because we have walking sticks”. They walked to the camels and hopped on. After that they rode on the camels for a very long time. Then finally they found grass,lakes and so many trees and animals.
I really like the setting for your story, Kienan. I also like the short bit of dialogue between your two characters. It made me smile. I also like the idea of them hopping on the camels – I can just imagine them doing it. Glad they sound safety in the end.
